Timetable

Launch – 12th August - The Glorious Twelfth
Nominations are invited - voting commences in the public vote via the online voting system. Nominations are accepted from: restaurants, public and suppliers. The awards are open to all establishments located in Kent (including Medway and those areas within the M25 traditionally considered as within Kent).

Public voting closes on 31st January 2011.

Short-listing –  Finalists Named
The finalists in each category will be announced. A dedicated tasting team will be selected (made up of no more than 2), to perform the site visits and report on their findings.

Restaurant visits
Restaurants will be contacted and visits arranged for the judges to evaluate the dining experience. Each group of judges will evaluate the restaurant against a set list of criteria, which will be made available to the restaurateurs before the visit occurs.
Note: Restaurants may be required to provide a complimentary dining experience for the judges and category winners may be obliged to offer a 3 course dinner (with house wine) for 2 as a prize to the person winning the public vote prize.

Judging session
The judging panel will review all the site feedback, scores and reports along with the customer’s comments. The judges will select 1 winner from each of the categories.

The Event – TBA
The winners will be announced at the award ceremony held centrally.
